Bulk Quick Complete runs as a background job — check Job Status for progress and troubleshooting stuck jobs.
Collection: Work Orders: FAQ & Troubleshooting
Priority: P1
Short answer
Quick Complete on multiple work orders runs as a background job. Monitor it on Inventory → Work Orders → Job Status.
Normal behavior
- Click Start Processing in the Quick Complete dialog
- You are redirected or prompted to check Job Status
- Bulk Quick Complete card shows progress bar
- Job moves to Recent Jobs when done (usually seconds to a few minutes)
If it seems stuck
| Check | Action |
|---|---|
| Progress at 0% | Refresh Job Status page; wait 1–2 minutes |
| Job failed | Expand job details for per-work-order errors |
| Job succeeded but no AOs | Open work order sidebar → Assembly Orders |
| Work order not In Progress | Status must be In Progress before Quick Complete |
After success
Assembly orders are created (usually as drafts). Complete them manually unless Auto Complete AO was checked.
