Collection: Work Orders: Getting Started
Priority: P1
Who this is for
Production planners running Quick Complete on multiple work orders who need to confirm background jobs finished successfully.
Before you begin
- You started a bulk Quick Complete from a production run or the Orders tab (Quick Complete guide)
Steps
1. Open Job Status
Go to Inventory → Work Orders → Job Status.
2. View active jobs
The Active Jobs section shows in-progress Bulk Quick Complete jobs with:
- Work order count being processed
- Progress bar and percentage
- Start time
3. Wait for completion
Jobs typically finish within seconds to minutes depending on batch size. The page auto-refreshes.
When complete, the job moves to Recent Jobs.
4. Review recent jobs
Recent Jobs shows completed or failed jobs. Expand a job to see per-work-order results and any error messages.
5. Verify assembly orders
After a successful job, open the production run or work orders and confirm Assembly Orders appear in the sidebar (usually as drafts for manual completion).
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| Job stuck at 0% | Refresh Job Status; check for system notifications |
| Job failed | Expand job details for per-WO errors; verify work orders are In Progress with no shortages |
| No assembly orders created | Confirm job shows success; check work order sidebar Assembly Orders section |
