Overview

When Luminous syncs your channel's product catalog, it imports every listing regardless of its publish status — active, draft, or inactive. The channel product mapping grid (Manage → Channels → [your channel] → Product Mapping) defaults to showing only Active listings to keep the view focused on products that are eligible for stock pushes. Draft listings exist in the grid but are hidden by the default filter.

Viewing draft listings

  1. Open Manage → Channels, select your channel, and go to the Product Mapping tab.
  2. Locate the Product Status column header. Its floating filter defaults to ACTIVE.
  3. Click the filter and choose:
    • ALL — shows every listing regardless of status (active, draft, and inactive).
    • DRAFT — narrows the grid to draft-only listings.
  4. The grid reloads with the matching rows. You can now search, sort, and map SKUs as normal.

Mapping a draft listing to a Luminous SKU

Mapping a draft listing works exactly the same as mapping an active listing:

  1. Filter the grid to show draft listings (see above).
  2. Find the row for the product you want to map.
  3. Click the Lum SKU cell and search for the Luminous SKU you want to link.
  4. Save. The mapping is stored immediately.

Note: Mapping a draft listing to a Luminous SKU does not make it eligible for stock pushes. Only listings whose recorded status is active are included in push cycles. To start pushing inventory for a draft product, change its status to Active in Shopify (or your channel platform) and then run a Product Sync in Luminous to update the stored status.

Why does the default filter show only Active?

The grid defaults to ACTIVE because draft and inactive listings are excluded from stock pushes. Filtering to active by default keeps the day-to-day view focused on the listings that are actually receiving inventory updates.
