Overview
The channel product mapping grid (found under Manage → Channels → [your channel] → Product Mapping) includes two columns — Stock Lvl [Pulled] and Last Pushed — that together give you a real-time view of what quantity was last communicated to your sales channel and whether that communication succeeded. Understanding both columns is the fastest way to spot a sync problem before it affects your storefront.
Stock Lvl [Pulled]
This column shows the inventory quantity that Luminous most recently pushed to the channel for each product, along with a bracketed timestamp indicating when that record was last updated.
For example, a cell might read:
42
[6/20/26, 3:14 PM]
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
| 42 | The quantity Luminous last sent to the channel for this product |
| [date/time] | When Luminous last updated this product's mapping record (typically the time of the most recent push cycle) |
Filtering tip: The column header filter lets you quickly narrow the list to specific stock situations:
- Out of Stock — products where the pushed quantity is 0
- Has Stock — products with any pushed quantity above 0
- Stocks lesser than 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 3,000 — products below a quantity threshold
- Stocks greater than 3,000 — high-volume products
Important distinction: This number reflects what Luminous last sent to the channel during a push cycle. It is not a live count fetched from Shopify or your other integration in real time. To see Luminous's current calculated available quantity, refer to the Qty Available column (on-hand minus pending orders across your assigned warehouse locations).
Last Pushed
This column records the outcome of the most recent stock push attempt for each product. A typical cell displays three pieces of information:
38
[6/20/26, 3:14 PM]Push Success: Inventory levels updated
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
| 38 | The quantity Luminous sent to the channel on the last push |
| [date/time] | The exact timestamp when that push was attempted |
| Push Success / Push Failed message | The result logged by Luminous after the push attempt |
Success messages
When a push completes without error, the remarks field reads "Push Success:" followed by a confirmation from the channel.
Failure messages
When a push encounters a problem, the remarks field reads "Push Failed:" followed by the error detail. Common examples include:
- Push Failed: Product not found in Shopify (404). Product removed from integration. — The product no longer exists on the channel side; Luminous has removed it from the mapping.
- Push Failed: [error description] — A network or API error occurred; the channel stock was not updated.
Filtering tip: Use the Last Pushed column filter to focus on:
- PUSHED — products that have been pushed at least once
- NOT PUSHED — products that have never had a successful push (no push timestamp recorded)
What to monitor for a healthy channel sync
1. Check for "Push Failed" remarks regularly
Any product showing "Push Failed:" in the Last Pushed cell did not have its inventory updated on the channel. Filter the grid by a date range if needed and scan the remarks column. Persistent failures usually indicate a disconnected or deleted channel product.
2. Look for products stuck on "NOT PUSHED"
Using the Last Pushed → NOT PUSHED filter surfaces every product that Luminous has never successfully synced. These products will show stale or zero inventory on your storefront until they are pushed.
3. Compare Stock Lvl [Pulled] against Qty Available
If the Stock Lvl [Pulled] number is significantly different from Qty Available, it means the last push cycle sent a different value than what Luminous currently calculates. This can happen if:
- Inventory changed after the last push cycle ran
- The push for this product was skipped because the calculated quantity had not changed since the prior push (Luminous skips redundant pushes as an optimization)
- A push failure prevented the channel from receiving the latest number
A small gap is normal between push cycles. A large or persistent gap warrants investigation.
4. Watch the timestamp in Stock Lvl [Pulled]
If the bracketed timestamp is unexpectedly old (e.g., more than a day old on an active channel), it may indicate the product's push cycle is stalling or being skipped. Check your channel's push schedule by navigating to Manage → Channels, opening the channel's Edit page, and reviewing the Push Stock to Integration setting in the Push Inventory Stocks and Costs section. Verify the channel is active.
5. Use the "Out of Stock" filter proactively
Filtering Stock Lvl [Pulled] → Out of Stock shows every product that last pushed a quantity of 0. Confirm that these products are genuinely out of stock in Qty Available — if they still show available quantity in Luminous, a push failure may have zeroed out the channel incorrectly.
Quick reference: column comparison
| Column | What it shows | Updated when |
|---|---|---|
| Stock Lvl [Pulled] | Quantity last pushed to the channel + timestamp of last record update | Every successful push cycle |
| Last Pushed | Quantity + timestamp + success/failure message from most recent push attempt | After every push attempt (success or failure) |
| Qty Available | Luminous's current calculated available stock (on-hand − pending) | In real time as inventory changes |
