Luminous lets you save a grid setup as a named preset (also called a saved view) and reload it later. Presets are available on some grids, and they work differently from grid to grid. This article covers the grids where we verified the behavior.
Fulfillment Orders (Operations → Fulfillment Orders)
Presets sit in the left-hand panel, in the same place as the status filters (All, Pending, Shipped, and so on).
To save a view
- Go to Operations → Fulfillment Orders.
- Apply the filters you want.
- Use the Columns and Filters panel on the right to choose the visible columns. Reorder or resize them if you like.
- In the left-hand panel, click Save Preset.
- Enter a name, optionally pick a color, and click Save.
To load a view: select the preset in the left-hand panel. The grid updates with the saved filters and column layout. To rename, recolor or delete a view: click the ⋮ next to the preset and choose Edit or Delete.
A Fulfillment Orders preset stores your applied filters, visible columns, column order, column widths and sorting. See Save and Reuse Filters & Column Views in Fulfillment Orders.
Assembly Orders (Open Orders and Closed Orders tabs)
If saved views are turned on for your account, the Assembly Orders page shows a preset list under the tabs on the left. It appears on the Open Orders and Closed Orders tabs only, not on Line Items (All Orders).
- Save: set up the grid, then click Save Preset. Enter a name, and optionally a color, in the dialog. A saved view captures the grid's current filters and column layout (visibility, order and widths). You'll see a "View saved" confirmation.
- Load: click the preset name.
- Rename or recolor: click the "more" (⋯) icon next to a preset and choose Edit.
- Delete: use the same menu and choose Delete. If that view was on screen, the grid returns to its default view.
- Presets are kept separately for the Open and Closed tabs.
If you don't see Save Preset here, saved views may not be enabled for your account. Contact support to ask.
Work Orders
The Work Orders area has tabs: Orders, Production Runs, Materials Planning, Shipment Planning and Job Status. Presets are available on the Orders tab (saved views in the left-hand panel, with a Save Preset button) and on the Materials Planning tab (described below). The other tabs do not have presets.
Materials Planning presets save your filters. They do not save column layout. The saved filters are:
- Warehouse
- Search text
- WO status
- Included and excluded work orders
- Shortages only
- Completion date range
- Any variant attribute and production-batch custom field filters you've applied
To save a preset
- Open Work Orders → Materials Planning and set the filters you want.
- Click Actions (top right of the filter bar), then Presets, then Save Current Filters.
- Type a name (for example, "Production Run A Materials") and click Save. You'll see "Filter preset saved".
To load a preset: click Actions → Presets and select a preset from the Saved Presets list. The list has a Search presets... box. The grid reloads with those filters.
To delete a preset: click Actions → Presets, click the × next to the preset, and confirm Delete this filter preset?
Tips
- Use clear, descriptive names such as "Pending Orders" or "Shortages – Warehouse A".
- Agree on naming with your team so presets are easy to find.
