Row color coding in Shared Components
The Shared Components table on a Production Run detail page uses two background colors to surface the most important status information at a glance. A legend beneath the section title explains both.
| Color | Meaning | When it appears |
|---|---|---|
| π΅ Light blue | Has PO β a Purchase Order (pending or received) is already linked to this material line | Any time the material has a linked PO with a pending or received status |
| π΄ Light red | Shortage β required quantity exceeds available on-hand and allocated incoming stock | Any time the Shortage column is greater than zero |
Both conditions at once
A row can be both short and covered by a PO β for example, a PO was created but not yet received and the quantity ordered doesn't fully cover the requirement. In that case:
- The background stays red (shortage takes visual precedence).
- A blue left border is added to the row so you still know a PO exists.
Check the PO Status column for more detail: it shows PO Pending (ordered, not yet received) or PO Received.
Why this matters
Use the blue highlight as a stop signal before creating new POs. If a line is already blue, check the PO Status column and the Inc. Available / Inc. Allocated columns to decide whether you need to allocate from that incoming PO or whether a gap still exists.
