The Picklist Status column on the Sales Order Grid (Operations → Sales Order Grid) shows where each order is in the pick-and-pack process. Each status has a colored dot. On the Picklists page, the same idea appears as the Pick/Pack Status filter.
The status values
| Status in the filter | Dot color | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Not Created | Red | The order has no picklist yet. |
| Not Enough Stocks | Red | The order has no picklist yet, and Luminous found there is not enough stock to fulfill it. |
| Created | Yellow | A picklist has been created for the order, and picking hasn't started. |
| Picking In-Progress | Yellow | Picking has started on the picklist. |
| Packing | Yellow | Picking is finished and the order is in the packing phase. |
| Completed | Green | The picklist has been packed. |
Note: The labels in the filter may differ slightly from the wording you're used to. "Packed" appears as Completed. "Picklist Created" appears as Created. "Not Enough Stock" appears as Not Enough Stocks.
How to use the statuses
- Go to Operations → Sales Order Grid.
- Add or open the Pick/Pack Status column filter and choose one or more statuses.
- Click Apply Filters to load the results.
- Filter on Not Created to find orders that are ready to have picklists created. Select them and use Actions → Create Picklists.
- Filter on Not Enough Stocks to find orders you can't pick yet because of low stock. If only one line is short, see the related article on partial picks.
- Orders move through Created → Picking In-Progress → Packing → Completed as the picklist is worked.
About the "Ready" tag
This article doesn't cover how a "Ready" tag filter affects picklists. That behavior isn't documented here yet. Tags and the Pick/Pack Status column are separate filters on the grid. Picklists are created for the orders you select in the grid.
