Column definitions
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| On Hand | Physical inventory currently in stock at relevant warehouse locations |
| Committed (All) | Quantity already reserved across active (not yet completed) work orders. The work order Bill of Materials tab also shows Committed (WO) — the portion reserved for that work order |
| Inc. Available | Incoming quantity on open purchase orders that is not yet allocated to any work order |
| Inc. Allocated | Incoming PO quantity reserved for this run's work orders via Allocate from Incoming |
| Required | Total component quantity needed across work orders in the production run |
| Shortage | Required − Available − Inc. Allocated — gap still to fill |
| Available | On Hand minus Committed (All) — stock not reserved by any work order (can be negative) |
How they work together
- On Hand is what you physically have today.
- Committed (All) is spoken for by production jobs.
- Inc. Available is on order from suppliers — use Allocate from Incoming to claim it.
- Inc. Allocated is on order and already claimed for this run.
- Shortage is what you still need to buy or receive.
Status affects the calculation
For Draft/Planned work orders, Luminous also considers uncommitted available stock plus this WO's committed qty.
For In Progress work orders, only this WO's committed qty and allocated incoming count — inventory is already locked for production.
