Product Publishing queue overview
The Product Publishing page gives you a live view of every SKU × connection pair and lets you push catalog updates in bulk. It is organized into five tabs:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Needs Push | SKUs that have been modified in Luminous since they were last published to that channel |
| Never Published | SKUs that have never been pushed to a given connection |
| Failed | SKUs whose most recent push attempt returned an error |
| Dismissed | Pairs you have manually dismissed (skipped without pushing) |
| All | Every pair, regardless of status |
Each tab shows a count badge so you can see at a glance how much work is outstanding.
Pushing selected SKUs
- Navigate to Inventory → Product Publishing.
- Select the tab you want to work from (e.g. Needs Push).
- Use the checkboxes to select individual rows, or check the header checkbox to select the entire visible page.
- Click Publish (N) in the selection bar that appears above the grid.
- A confirmation dialog appears. Review the SKU × connection pairs and, if needed, uncheck any connections you do not want to push to right now.
- Confirm — Luminous queues a background push job and confirms how many pairs were queued.
You can also click Dismiss in the selection bar to remove pairs from the active queue without pushing. Dismissed pairs move to the Dismissed tab and are excluded from automated pushes. A pair leaves the Dismissed state as soon as the underlying SKU is edited again in Luminous.
Filtering and searching
- Use the search bar to filter by SKU, product name, or connection name.
- Use the Connection column filter to focus on a single channel.
- Custom saved filters are available from the filter toolbar.
Reading push outcomes
After a push job completes, each row records:
- Last published — timestamp of the most recent successful publish.
- Status — current state: Up to date, Needs push, Never published, Failed, or Dismissed.
- Last error — the first 500 characters of any error message from the most recent failed attempt.
Failed rows appear in the Failed tab and can be retried by selecting them and clicking Publish (N) again.
Notes
- Push jobs run asynchronously in the background; you do not need to keep the page open.
- Connections excluded from Product Publishing (via the Connections button at the top of the Product Publishing page) do not appear in any tab or count.
- This feature must be enabled for your account — contact support if you do not see the Product Publishing menu item.
