Action Center — operations buckets
The Action Center (accessible from the main navigation) is your daily triage dashboard. It shows every open exception that needs a person, organized into two zones: Assigned to you (your personal approvals queue) and Your team (tenant-wide operational checks).
Understanding the cards
Each card shows:
- Count — how many records currently match. Counts cap at 9,999+ (or 500+ for Phantom on-hand) to keep the page fast.
- Reason — a plain-English description of why those records are here.
- View all link — opens the full list on the relevant screen.
- Sales orders awaiting posting — this is not report-only. Click Reprocess directly on a row to resubmit it for posting.
- Fulfillment orders not pushed — this is not report-only. Click Push to channel directly on a row to push it.
- Couldn't check — means the underlying query failed. The system will retry on the next refresh; you can also use the Retry button. A failed check is never shown as zero.
The four team buckets
Sales orders awaiting posting
- What it means: Orders were received from a sales channel but have not yet been posted to inventory. Until an order is posted, nothing can be picked against it.
- Severity: Warning.
- What to do: Click View all to open the Purgatory page. Review each order for mapping errors or missing SKUs, resolve them, and reprocess so the orders post.
Fulfillment orders not pushed
- What it means: One or more fulfillment orders were created but never successfully sent to the warehouse. Nothing will ship until these are pushed.
- Severity: Critical.
- What to do: Click View all to open the Fulfillment Orders page. Identify unpushed orders and push them manually, or investigate why the automatic push failed (carrier configuration, warehouse connection, etc.).
Inventory discrepancies
- What it means: One or more SKUs have a physical count that does not match what the cost layers expect. This is a Report only bucket — the Action Center counts the problem but cannot fix it here.
- Severity: Warning.
- What to do: Click the Inventory discrepancies card to open the Stock Discrepancies report in a new tab. Review each discrepancy, determine whether the count or the cost layers need correction, and use the appropriate reconciliation tools.
Phantom on-hand
- What it means: Stock is recorded at the warehouse level for a SKU but is not assigned to any bin location. This is a Report only bucket — correcting phantom quantities is a reviewed operation, not a one-click fix.
- Severity: Warning.
- What to do: Click View all to open the Inventory Stocks page. Work with your warehouse team to locate and bin the stock, or use the location-repair tools to remove the phantom quantity after confirming the discrepancy is real.
Permission requirements
- The Sales orders awaiting posting and Fulfillment orders not pushed buckets are visible to users with Sales Orders read access.
- The Inventory discrepancies and Phantom on-hand buckets are visible to users with Stocks read access.
- Buckets you do not have permission to see are hidden entirely — they do not appear as zeros.
