How do I list fulfillment order lines alphabetically by product name?

Turn on the Sort Fulfillment Order Lines by Product Name setting to see fulfillment order lines A to Z.

Turn it on

1. Go to Operations → Operations Admin → Smart Fulfillment Settings.
2. Check Sort Fulfillment Order Lines by Product Name.
3. Click Save. The setting is off by default.

What changes

• The fulfillment order page lists lines A to Z by product name.
• External API fulfillment order responses, both single and list, return lines in the same order. Apps that read fulfillment orders through the API, such as batching or tag-printing apps, receive lines alphabetically.
• Sorting ignores upper and lower case and accents, so "Éclair" sorts with the E's.
• Lines with the same name keep their original entry order.
• Lines with no name appear at the end.
• A kit component stays directly beneath its kit line when the kit line is on the same fulfillment order. The kit group sorts by the kit's name.

What does not change

• The order saved on the sales order or fulfillment order.
• The order of lines sent to ShipStation.
• Editing a fulfillment order, and linking shipments to it.

To go back to entry order, uncheck the setting and save.
