Filtering Assembly Orders by Category or Subcategory
The Assembly Orders grid has optional Category and Subcategory columns that show the product category and subcategory of each order's SKU. You can filter by either one.
Step 1 — Show the columns
These columns are hidden by default, and visibility is set per tab. If you turn them on in Open Orders, turn them on again in Closed Orders.
- Go to Inventory → Assembly Orders.
- Choose Open Orders or Closed Orders.
- Click the Columns tab on the right edge of the grid.
- Tick Category and/or Subcategory.
Step 2 — Filter by category or subcategory
- Click the filter icon in the Category (or Subcategory) column header.
- Use the search box or tick values in the list. Untick (Select All) first if you only want a few.
- The grid updates as soon as you tick a value. The filter box under the header shows what's active (e.g., "(1) Drinks").
- To clear it, open the filter again and tick (Select All).
You can combine these with the other column filters (Order #, Order Type, SKU, Status, etc.).
Notes
- The lists include every category and subcategory in your catalog, not just the ones on current orders.
- To reuse a setup, click Save Preset in the left panel and give it a name.
