Overview

The Channels list (under Manage → Channels) is your central place to set up which integration accounts receive your inventory stock pushes, assign warehouse groups to channels, and control the push schedule. The list itself can be sorted and filtered to help you find the right channel quickly.

  1. Go to Manage → Channels.
  2. The table shows every channel with the following columns: Channel (name), Channel Type, Warehouse Group, Remarks, Internal Sales Channel, Get Orders, Push Orders, Push Stock to Integration, Tags, and Active.
  3. Sort the list by clicking any underlined column header (Channel, Channel Type, Warehouse Group, Remarks, or Tags). Click the same header again to reverse the sort direction (ascending ↑ / descending ↓).
  4. Use the filter bar above the table to narrow by channel name, status, or channel type (use + Add Filter for more criteria).

Note: There is no manual drag-and-drop reordering of channels. Use column sorting or filters to organize the view.

Opening a Channel for Editing

  1. Find the channel you want to configure in the list.
  2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on the right side of the channel's row.
  3. Select Edit (or View to inspect without making changes).

Assigning a Warehouse Group

Where the Warehouse Group picker appears depends on the channel type:

Channel TypeWhere Warehouse Group appears
FulfillmentTop of the edit form (required field)
End-to-EndTop of the edit form
Sales (with stock push enabled)Inside the Push Inventory Stocks and Costs section

Select the appropriate warehouse group from the dropdown. For fulfillment channels, this field is required before saving.

Changing the Warehouse Group on a channel that is linked to a Fulfillment Priority List will also update the associated priority list lines. Luminous will show a warning message before saving if it detects this situation.

Configuring Stock Push Settings

The Push Inventory Stocks and Costs section appears on Sales and End-to-End channels.

1. Enable Push Stock to Integration

  • Toggle Push Stock to Integration to the ON position.
  • Once enabled, additional options appear:
    • Include Incoming Stocks as Sellable – counts stock in transit as sellable when calculating the quantity pushed.
    • Push Incoming Stocks from Supplier Purchase Orders – includes quantities on open supplier POs in the sellable figure.
    • Advanced configuration – expand to access the sellable quantity formula for fine-grained control over what components are subtracted.

2. Enable Push Costs to Integration (if available on your account)

  • Toggle Push Costs to Integration to ON.
  • Choose the cost type to push: Unit Cost or Landed Cost.

3. Select the Integration Account

  • Under Push To Integration Account, choose the integration account (e.g., your Shopify store) that should receive the stock push.
  • If your account supports it, you can also choose a Push to Inventory Location to target a specific location within that integration.

4. Assign Warehouse Group (Sales channels only)

  • When Push Stock to Integration is enabled on a Sales channel, a Warehouse Group dropdown appears in this section. Select the warehouse group whose stock should be used for the push calculation.

Setting the Stock Push Schedule

Once an integration account is selected, the Enable Scheduled Push Stock section becomes available.

  1. Toggle Enable Scheduled Push Stock to ON.
  2. Choose a Mode:

Daily

  • Set Times – add one or more specific push times in HH:MM (24-hour) format. Click Add to include additional times.
  • Spread – enter how many times per day Luminous should push, and set a start time. Luminous distributes the pushes evenly across the day from that start time.

Hourly

  • Enter the interval (e.g., 2 to push every 2 hours).
  • Optionally set a Start Time to control when the cycle begins.
  1. A Next runs (UTC) preview is shown so you can verify the schedule before saving.

Default behavior (no schedule enabled): Luminous pushes stock approximately every four hours. Actual push times may vary by several minutes due to system queue load. See Setting the Stock Push Schedule for Shopify for further guidance on recommended frequencies.

Saving Your Changes

Click Save at the bottom of the channel edit form. If any required fields (such as Warehouse Group for a Fulfillment channel) are missing, Luminous will highlight the errors before saving.
