Overview
Luminous now allows exporting all channel integration products together in one file and importing updates for those products across all integrations in a single upload.
Previously, product updates (such as buffer adjustments) had to be exported, edited, and re-imported for each integration individually. This process could take several hours for companies managing many channels.
With this update, product data across all integrations can be exported, edited, and re-imported in one workflow, significantly reducing manual work.
This feature is available in Tools → Imports → App Integration Account Products.
Export All Channel Products
- Navigate to Tools in the left sidebar.
- Select Imports.
- Open App Integration Account Products.
- Click Export All Channel Products at the top of the page.
- Download the file containing product data from all integrations.
The exported file now includes a new Integration column, which identifies the channel and OMS associated with each product.
Update Products Across All Channels
- Open the exported file and make the necessary product updates (for example: buffer changes or other configuration updates).
- Ensure the Integration column remains included so Luminous can identify which channel each product belongs to.
- Save the file after completing updates.
Import the Updated File
- Navigate to Tools → Imports → App Integration Account Products.
- In Select App Integration Account, choose one of the following options:
- Any (use integration from file) – Luminous will use the Integration column in the file to determine which channel to update.
- A specific integration – All rows will be imported to the selected integration.
- Upload the updated file.
- Continue through the import steps:
- Map Columns
- Preview
- Import
Once the import is completed, product updates will be applied across all relevant integrations.
Important Notes
- The Integration column is included in exports to allow updates across multiple channels in one import.
- When Any (use integration from file) is selected, the system reads the integration directly from the uploaded file.
- When a specific integration is selected, the integration column is optional.
Best Practices
- Always begin by exporting the current product file to ensure the latest data structure is used.
- Avoid deleting the Integration column when planning to update multiple channels.
- Review the Preview step during import to confirm updates before finalizing.
Troubleshooting
Products importing into the wrong channel
Verify that the Integration column values match the correct integrations in the file.
Import not updating multiple channels
Confirm that Any (use integration from file) was selected during the import step.
