What you will see
When you save a purchase order that has a warehouse, Luminous checks every line. If a line is a Non-Inventory product, the save is rejected with a message like: "This purchase order can't be saved: line 2 is a non-inventory product, which cannot be a purchase order line. Remove it or record it as an extra cost." The message gives the line numbers. Nothing is saved when this happens.
Why
Non-inventory products don't get a receiving stock location, so a PO line for one can't be received. In the past, such a line was silently skipped. The PO header still counted it, so the item count and total didn't match the saved lines.
What to do
- Remove the listed line(s) from the PO.
- Record the cost as an extra cost on the PO instead.
- Save again.
The same check applies when the in-app AI agent edits a PO.
Notes
- POs that have no warehouse (for example dropship POs) keep non-inventory lines.
