With the revamp enabled, a transfer order's status is worked out from its two sides: what has shipped from the source, and what has been received at the destination.

  • Draft: saved, not yet posted.
  • Open: posted, but nothing has been fully shipped yet.
  • In Transit: everything has shipped and nothing has been received.
  • Partially Received: some quantity has been received at the destination.
  • Received: the full quantity has been received.
  • Cancelled: the transfer was cancelled or voided.

On a transfer order’s page

A progress tracker shows Posted → In transit → Received. A partially shipped transfer stays at Posted. A partially received transfer shows In transit until everything arrives.

Notes

  • Quantities are compared line by line. Cancelled quantity is left out of the target.
  • Anything received also counts as shipped.
  • A source marked shipped with nothing actually shipped does not count as shipped.
  • Editing a posted transfer rebuilds its sides, and the status is read from the current ones.
