Last Receipt Date on the Purchase Orders list

Luminous now shows the most recent receiving date for each purchase order directly in the PO list, so you can track receiving activity without opening individual records.

Enable the column

  1. Go to Inventory → Purchase Orders in the left navigation.
  2. Click the Columns control (top-right of the table).
  3. Toggle on Last Receipt Date.

The column will appear in the table and your preference is saved for future visits.

What the date means

ScenarioWhat you'll see
One or more receiving reports completedThe date of the most recently completed receiving report for that PO
Only voided receiving reportsBlank — voided reports are excluded
No receiving activity yetBlank

Note: Only completed, non-voided receiving reports count. A report that was voided does not update this date even if it was created recently.

Sort by Last Receipt Date

Click the Last Receipt Date column header to sort:

  • Descending — most recently received POs first; POs with no receipts fall to the bottom.
  • Ascending — oldest receipt date first; POs with no receipts still fall to the bottom.

This makes it easy to quickly identify POs that have never been received or that haven't had a receipt in a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Does this match what I'd see if I opened the PO?
Yes. The date reflects the latest received_date across all active receipt lines for that PO — the same receipts you'd find by opening the PO and reviewing its receiving history.

Is this available in the CSV export?
Yes. When you export the PO list, last_receipt_date is included in the export payload.

What if a receipt covers multiple SKUs — which date is used?
The column uses the receiving report's header date (received_date), taking the maximum across all active receipt lines tied to the PO, regardless of how many SKUs were on each report.
