Overview
Every Fulfillment Order (FO) detail page now shows two pieces of linked-order context and, for merged FOs, a dedicated tab.
Split/Merge field
In the main info card at the top of the FO detail page you will see a Split/Merge field. Possible values:
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Simple | Standard FO — not split or merged |
| Split | This FO was produced by splitting a larger fulfillment order (for example, because items had different ship-by dates) |
| Merged | This FO was produced by combining two or more orders using the Ship Together action |
Linked Sales Orders chips
Next to the Split/Merge field, whenever the FO is linked to one or more sales orders (merged FOs will show several), you will see a row of Linked Sales Orders chips — one per order. Click any chip to open that sales order's detail page in the same tab.
Linked Fulfillment Orders tab (merged FOs only)
When the FO's Split/Merge value is Merged, a Linked Fulfillment Orders tab appears in the lower card alongside the Items and Shipments tabs. This tab shows an embedded FO grid pre-filtered to the sibling orders that were combined into this one, giving you full visibility into quantities, statuses, and tracking for each constituent order.
Linked Purchase Orders
If the FO is a drop-ship order backed by a supplier purchase order, or if it was fulfilled via a purchase-to-order workflow, one or more Linked Purchase Orders chips appear. Click any chip to navigate directly to that PO.
Tips
- The Linked Fulfillment Orders tab is read-only — you cannot merge or split from within it.
- To initiate a merge (Ship Together), use the FO grid bulk actions on the main Fulfillment Orders page. That capability is enabled separately per account.
- A Split FO is still an independent FO for pushing and tracking purposes; the Split label is informational only.
