Shipment Planning normally lists finished goods produced on work orders. To ship other on-hand stock, such as stock received on purchase orders or opening balances, include it with a toggle.
Steps
- Go to Inventory → Work Orders → Shipment Planning and open the Ready to Ship tab.
- Select the source warehouse. Non-work-order stock is only listed once a source warehouse is selected.
- Turn on Include Non-WO Stock. The toggle is off by default and appears only on the Ready to Ship tab.
- Optionally turn on Show Lots to list the stock by lot and choose lots per line.
- Select the rows you want, including a mix of work-order and non-work-order rows, and click Create Transfer Order. Choose the destination and status as usual.
Good to know
- Only stock with a positive on-hand quantity at the selected warehouse is listed.
- A SKU that already appears at that warehouse through a work order isn't listed again as non-work-order stock.
- You can filter by SKU as you can for work-order rows.
- Non-work-order rows show Inventory in the Source column, so you can tell them apart from work-order rows.
