Excluding a connection from Product Publishing

If you have a connected channel that you never want to push catalog data to through the Product Publishing queue, you can exclude it. An excluded connection disappears from every tab, every count, and every bulk-publish confirm dialog — it will never be accidentally included in a push.

Steps

  1. Go to Product Publishing.
  2. Click the Connections button (top right of the page).
  3. The Connections dialog lists every channel that supports product publishing.
  4. Uncheck a connection to exclude it. The change saves immediately.
  5. Click Done when finished. The queue reloads and the excluded connection's rows disappear from all tabs.

Re-including a connection

Excluded connections remain visible in the Connections dialog so you can always re-enable them:

  1. Open the Connections dialog.
  2. Check the connection you want to include again.
  3. Click Done — the connection's SKUs reappear in the appropriate tabs.

What exclusion affects

Tab countsNot counted

Bulk dismiss / publish allExcluded connection is never actioned
Scheduled auto-pushExcluded connection is skipped

Notes

  • The exclusion is per-connection (per integration account), not per SKU. To skip individual SKU × connection pairs without excluding the whole connection, use Dismiss Selected from the queue grid instead.
  • Excluding a connection does not remove previously published products from the channel — it only prevents future pushes through the Product Publishing queue.
