Ship Together must be enabled for your account. The banner only appears when there are fulfillment orders that can be combined. If it’s enabled and you expect suggestions but see no banner, contact Luminous Support.
Find orders that can be combined
- Go to Operation → Fulfillment Orders.
- If open orders are going to the same place, a banner at the top shows how many can be combined, for example “2 fulfillment orders can be merged into 1.” Click Dismiss to hide it.
- Suggestions are for fulfillment orders that haven't been sent to the warehouse or 3PL. They must share the same normalized ship-to address, fulfillment channel, destination and warehouse group. They cover roughly the last 60 days. Only groups that pass the merge safety checks are shown.
Review and combine
- Click Review & merge on the banner. The Combine into one shipment dialog opens for the first suggested group.
- Combining doesn’t change the sales orders themselves. They stay open and unchanged. Only the fulfillment orders sent to the warehouse are merged into one.
- Check the After combining section. It shows the merged fulfillment order's lines, ship-to (Ships to), destination (Sent to), warehouse group, and the fulfillment orders that will be removed. Changing the primary order or the ships-to address refreshes this section.
- If warnings appear, acknowledge them, then click Ship together. You’ll see “Orders combined into a single shipment.” and the banner updates.
Orders that can't be combined
An order is blocked if its fulfillment order has already been sent to the warehouse or 3PL, is on a picklist, is shipped or cancelled, is part of a split, or uses a different currency. Orders also need compatible warehouse routing. If an order was pushed after the banner loaded, the dialog will refuse the group and the banner refreshes.
