Lot-tracked SKUs in the location scan view

When you open a bin location in the Warehouse Mobile App, the SKU list now shows a Lot # column whenever that bin holds at least one lot-tracked SKU. Each row is one lot — so if the same SKU arrived in two separate lots, you will see two rows, one per lot, each with its own quantity, lot number, and expiry date (if set).

Bins that contain no lot-tracked inventory look exactly as they did before.

Scanning a SKU barcode inside a bin

One matching lot → goes straight to quantity entry (unchanged)

If the scanned SKU appears in the bin under exactly one lot, the app navigates directly to the quantity-entry screen as normal.

Multiple matching lots → you must pick the lot

If the scanned SKU is stored in the bin under two or more lots, the app:

  1. Narrows the list to show only that SKU's lot rows.
  2. Shows a banner: "Showing lots for [SKU]" with a Show all button.
  3. Displays a message telling you how many lots were found and asking you to select the one you are holding.
  4. Waits for you to tap the correct lot row before proceeding to quantity entry.

This replaces the previous behaviour where the app silently picked the first lot it found, which could cause adjustments and transfers to be recorded against the wrong lot.

Clearing the lot filter

While the list is narrowed to a single SKU's lots, a banner appears at the top of the screen:

Showing lots for [SKU] — Show all button

Tap Show all to restore the full bin list without selecting a lot.

Adding a lot-tracked SKU to a bin

The Add button and the QR-scan-to-add path are blocked for lot-tracked SKUs. If you search for or scan a lot-tracked SKU that is not yet in the bin, you will see:

[SKU] is lot tracked — receive it against a lot instead of adding it here.

Why? The add-to-location action does not carry a lot number. Allowing it would create an unlotted inventory row in the bin that cannot be attributed to any specific lot, breaking traceability.

What to do instead: Receive the inventory against the correct lot through a purchase order or inbound shipment receipt. The lot row will then appear automatically in the bin after receiving.
