Transfer Routes let you save defaults for moving stock from one warehouse to another. They are available when the fulfillment/transfer revamp is enabled for your account.

What a route holds

  • A source warehouse and a destination warehouse. There is one route per pair.
  • A source mode. Worked means your team ships it, for example by pushing the fulfillment order, picking, or printing labels. Automated means it auto-ships.
  • A destination mode. Worked means your team receives it with a receiving report or mobile receive. Automated means it auto-receives on arrival.
  • An optional default fulfillment source for the transfer's source side.

Set one up

  1. Go to Settings → Transfer Orders and scroll to Transfer Routes.
  2. In the empty row, choose From warehouse and To warehouse.
  3. Choose Leaving: Worked (we ship it) or Automated (marked shipped).
  4. Choose Arriving: Worked (we receive it) or Automated (received on arrival).
  5. Click + to add the route.

There is one route per warehouse pair. To change the pair, delete the route and add a new one.

How it is used When you create a transfer and choose that Ship From and Delivery Destination, the Leaving and Arriving options are filled in for you. The form shows “Defaults from the [From] → [To] transfer route.” You can still change either side. Changing a route never affects existing transfers.

Tip: choosing a Fulfillment Source can change Ship From to that channel’s warehouse. Check both warehouses before saving.
