Filtering search results by type
When you search in Luminous, matching records of every type are ranked together. To see only one type, use the scope chips that appear at the top of the results panel.
How to scope a search
- Press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or ⌘K (Mac), or click the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type your search. A row of chips appears at the top of the results, one for each record type that has matches, with its count (for example, Purchase orders 5).
- Click a chip to show only that type. The chip moves into the search box as a highlighted pill.
- To go back to all types, click the × on the pill, click the chip again, or press Backspace at the start of the search box.
Page shortcuts
When no chip is selected, up to three matching pages (for example, Reports or Imports) are pinned above the record results so you can jump straight there.

"View full table" shortcut
When a scope chip is active, a View full … table link appears at the bottom of the results panel. Click it to jump directly to the full list page for that type (available for Products, Sales orders, Purchase orders, and Customers).
Show more results
Up to 7 results display per page. Click Show more to load the next 7. The chip count tells you the total available so you know when to narrow your query instead.
