Configure the Production Run Data export template
A Production Run Data template lets you choose which columns appear in the CSV / Excel export, toggle optional sections on or off, and include custom fields. Templates are optional — without one, the export includes every column.
Create or edit a template
- Go to Manage → Templates.
- Click Create (or edit an existing one).
- Set the Template Type to Production Run Data (e.g. CSV).
- Configure the options below, then Save.
Column selection
The Export Columns section lists every available column as a checkbox, ordered by grain (run, work order, extra cost, BOM component). Tick the columns you want to include. Identity columns (Run #, WO #, etc.) are not listed — they are always included and cannot be removed.
Leave every column unticked to export every column in default order.
Section toggles
| Toggle | Effect |
|---|---|
| Show Production Run Row | Includes the RUN grain row. Turn off to produce a work-order-only file. |
| Show Extra Costs | Includes EXTRA_COST rows. When off, the extra-cost subtotal is also removed from the Run Grand Total (matching PDF behaviour). |
| Show Consolidated BOM | Includes BOM_COMPONENT rows. |
Custom field columns
| Toggle | Effect |
|---|---|
| Include Production Run Custom Fields | Appends one column per custom field defined for production runs, prefixed "Run: ". |
| Include Work Order Custom Fields | Appends one column per custom field defined for work orders, prefixed "WO: ". |
Fields with no value on a given record export as blank, so every file has the same column count.
Applying a template
Once saved, the template is applied automatically when a user exports from a production run. If more than one Production Run Data template exists, the export uses the one marked as default (tick Make this template default on the template).
